South Tyrolean Museum of Mines Ridanna

The Mine Ridanna is one of Europe's highest mountain mines and also one of the oldest working mines in the Alpine region is now open to visitors.

Many of the numerous pieces of mining equipment on and in the mountainside between the Val Ridanna and Val Passiria valleys are still in working order.

The entire mine is a hands-on experience for adults and children to explore and discover.

There is a varied tour program geared towards a wide range of interests.

Visitors will experience the entire production process of a mine as well as its technical development over a period of 800 years.
