Sarentino valley

Ski area Reinswald

A secret tip is and always will be the Sarentino valley during winter, with its family ski resort Reinswald (1,570 - 2,460 metres), suitable for ski tour walking and cross-country skiing.

The Sarentino valley has a wonderful, unspoilt winter landscape with ancient farmsteads clinging to steep mountain slopes and with a small but lovely modern ski-circus including a Europa-Cup piste with a 58% gradient.

Under a white blanket the Sarentino valley presents itself at its most romantic and idyllic.

Cross-country skiing on 15 miles of perfectly-kept loipes, ice-skating, curling and excursions by horse-drawn sleigh make for eventful winter days in Sarentino valley.

The toboggan run (4.5 km) is one of South Tyrol's longest and is great fun for all the family.
