The old village Salorno (226 m) settlement is surrounded by orchards and vineyards.

The adjacent mountain villages of Buchholz (560 m) and Gfrill (1328 m) enjoy wonderful panoramic views across the Val d'Adige Valley and towards the Brenta Dolomites.

Impressive houses from the Renaissance and Baroque style of this German-Italian border village. Numerous personalities such as Napoleon, Martin Luther, Albrecht Dürer and Ludwig Richter have spent some time in this region.
